The American Biological Safety Association aims to foster recognition of Biological Safety as a distinct scientific discipline, to promote biological safety, to establish a forum for the continued exchange of information on biological safety, and to provide an organization that will recognize the needs and represent the interests of persons in biological safety.

ANBio

Associacao Nacional de Biosseguranca  (Brazilian National Biological Safety Association) is a non-profit scientific society, which aims at disseminating Biosafety as science in Brazil acting in the capacity building of human resources and in scientific communication in the field of Biosafety and its interfaces with Life Sciences, Agronomic Sciences, Bioethics and Biolaw.

A-PBA

The Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association is a newly formed professional  association to congregate practitioners of  biological safety for the promotion of biological safety and to facilitate the sharing of biosafety information.

Belgian Biosafety Professionals

The Belgian Biosafety Professionals (BPP) provide a forum for biosafety professionals to exchange experience, developments and issues in biosafety practices and regulation in a Belgian context.

EBSA

The European Biosafety Association was founded in June 1996 to promote biosafety as a scientific discipline and serve the growing needs of the biosafety professionals throughout Europe.

EFB Task Group on Safety in Biotechnology

The objective of this Task Group of the European Federation Biotechnology is to help maintain the excellent safety record of biotechnological operations through its activities and by creating an information network through its national members and members from international organisations.

International Veterinary Biosafety Working Group

The mission of the WG is to promote microbiological biocontainment and safety in veterinary laboratories having national responsibility for the health of domestic animals, and operating at biosafety level 3 and higher. This will be achieved by the development and publication of Biosafety risk assessment procedures, International benchmark laboratory construction standards for biosafety levels 3 and higher, and Quality assurance protocols for laboratory operation.
