Authorities - Placing GMOs on the market

The Placing on the market of GMOs as products or products containing GMOs is forbidden by Law. The Placing on the market of Novel Food or ingredients consisting in GMOs or derived from GMOs is forbidden by Law.
In both cases an appropriate authorisation MUST be obtained at the European Union level before carrying on such commercialisation.
COMPETENT ADMINISTRATIONS AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL
Depending on the potential field of application of the GMO, the following service is involved:
 Plant
varieties and animal lines/races; Seeds; Phytopharmaceuticals; Biopesticides;
Raw materials; Mineral, organic, and biomassic soil amendements; Feed;
Feed processings |
