Topic:
The course will cover all aspects of shipping dangerous biological substances and participants will have the opportunity to obtain an official certificate allowing them to ship biological materials according to IATA / DGR.
Course content:
- Basic and refresher course for all persons involved in the shipment of infectious substances Category B, Genetically modified microorganisms and Dry Ice by air transport.
- Classification, packing, marking / labelling and documentation of the following substances:
- Exempt human / animal specimen o UN 3373 Biological substance Category B
- UN 3245 Genetically modified organisms / Genetically modified microorganisms
- UN 1845 Dry Ice
- The participants will receive a certificate approved by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) after having passed a final test at the end of the training
